ChatGPT SEO Services That Get Your Brand Into the Answer
When someone asks ChatGPT which agency, product or supplier to use, it replies with a short list and a handful of sources. Being on page one of Google does not put you on that list. ChatGPT search reads the live web through its own crawler and a web index, breaks the question into smaller searches, and lifts the passages it trusts. Our ChatGPT SEO service makes sure your pages are reachable, quotable and corroborated, so the answer includes you.
We run it from Noida for clients in India and the United States, alongside the classic SEO your site already depends on. Nothing here replaces rankings. It builds on them.

Book your free ChatGPT citation audit
We run a fixed set of buyer prompts through ChatGPT, record who it names and why, and send you the baseline with the first three fixes.
The gap
Why a Google ranking alone does not get you cited in ChatGPT
Most sites we audit rank well and are still absent from ChatGPT's answers. The causes are consistent, and none of them show up in a normal SEO report.
Rankings and citations are different tests
Google ranks whole pages for a query. ChatGPT search pulls candidate passages from a web index and keeps only the ones it can quote cleanly. A page can pass the first test and fail the second every day.
The answer is buried
Pages that open with three paragraphs of scene-setting before saying anything definite are skipped. The model looks for a heading followed by a direct, complete answer, and moves on when it does not find one.
No comparison or shortlist content
The prompts that drive purchase decisions are evaluative: best, versus, alternatives to. If your site has nothing that honestly compares options, there is nothing for ChatGPT to cite when those prompts run.
A thin third-party footprint
ChatGPT cross-checks what your site says against reviews, directories and forums. A brand with no presence on review platforms or in community discussion gets less confidence, and less confidence means fewer mentions.
Crawler access was never checked
Security plugins, CDN rules and copied robots.txt files often block OpenAI's crawlers without anyone noticing. A blocked site cannot be retrieved, however good the content is.
Nobody is watching the citations
There is no dashboard inside ChatGPT. Unless someone runs the same prompts every month and records the answers, the first sign you lost a citation is a prospect quoting a competitor.
How it works
How ChatGPT decides what to cite
ChatGPT with search on is a retrieval system with a language model on top. It does not know your site; it looks it up, at the moment of the question, and writes an answer from what it finds. Four behaviours decide whether you are in that answer.
Everything in our service maps back to one of these four. The same principles run through our generative engine optimization work, tuned here for how ChatGPT in particular behaves.
It splits the question
One prompt becomes several underlying searches: the category, the location, the constraints, the comparison. Each sub-query needs its own citable passage on your site, not one page that tries to cover everything at once.
It searches a live web index
Results come from a web index and OpenAI's own crawlers (OAI-SearchBot for search, GPTBot for training). If those crawlers cannot fetch a page, or the page is missing from the index, it is not a candidate.
It lifts passages, not pages
The model extracts sentences and short sections, so every heading needs to stand on its own with the brand, the claim and the context inside it. Pronouns and references to 'above' break the passage.
It checks sources against each other
Claims that agree across your site, your review profiles and independent mentions are trusted faster. A statement that exists only in your own marketing copy is treated as a weaker signal.
Change any one of these and citation rates move. Change all four and they move a lot, which is why the work below is sequenced the way it is.
What we do
End-to-end ChatGPT SEO
Six workstreams, run in order. The first two remove the reasons ChatGPT cannot use your site; the rest give it reasons to.
Crawler & index access audit
We confirm OAI-SearchBot and GPTBot can reach every priority page, check robots.txt, CDN and security rules, verify indexing in the web index ChatGPT draws on, and benchmark load speed and rendering so nothing times out at retrieval.
Answer-first content architecture
We map the sub-queries behind your buyers' prompts, rewrite headings so each one is answered in the first sentences beneath it, and build out topic clusters so every sub-query has a passage to cite.
Comparison & shortlist content
Category comparisons, honest alternatives pages and shortlist guides with clear criteria and tables. They target the evaluative prompts that decide purchases, and they are refreshed on a schedule so they stay current.
Review & community footprint
We build out the profiles ChatGPT uses to corroborate you (Google, Clutch, G2, Trustpilot, JustDial where relevant), map where your category is discussed on Reddit and Quora, and close the gaps between what those sources say and what your site says.
Schema & structured data
Organization, Service, FAQPage, Article and Product markup, validated and kept in step with the copy, so the entities on the page are unambiguous and the passages are cleaner to extract.
ChatGPT citation monitoring
A fixed prompt set run every month, with who was cited, for which prompt, and which page. We benchmark competitors on the same prompts and correlate the results with branded search and referral traffic.
The process
Our ChatGPT SEO process
A fixed order, because access problems make content work pointless and content problems make authority work pointless. Timelines assume a site of up to a few hundred pages; larger sites run the same phases in parallel streams.
Weeks 1–2: Baseline and access audit
We agree the prompt set with you, record who ChatGPT cites today, and audit crawler access, indexing, speed and schema across the priority pages.
Weeks 3–4: Technical fixes
Unblock crawlers, fix indexing gaps, repair rendering and speed issues, and ship the first round of structured data.
Weeks 5–6: Content restructuring
Rewrite the priority pages answer-first, split them along the sub-queries we mapped, and publish the first comparison and shortlist assets.
Weeks 7–10: Corroboration and authority
Build out review profiles, align third-party listings with the site, and earn mentions in the places your category is discussed.
Ongoing: Monitor, report, iterate
Re-run the prompt set monthly, report citation share against competitors, and feed what changed back into the content and authority queues.
Ask it for the best option in your market and it will name two or three brands, with confidence, before the buyer has opened a search engine. That answer is becoming the first impression for a growing share of purchase research, and it is being shaped right now by whichever competitor made themselves easiest to cite.
The work to change it is concrete and measurable: reachable pages, direct answers, honest comparisons, a corroborated footprint and a monthly record of what ChatGPT says. Start with the free audit and you will have the baseline within a week.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we get asked before a ChatGPT SEO engagement starts.
Ask us something elseIs ranking first on Google enough to get cited by ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPT search retrieves from a web index through its own crawlers and judges passages, not rankings. A page at the top of Google can be blocked from those crawlers, missing from the index, or structured so that no passage answers the question directly. We see all three regularly on sites with strong Google positions.
Does ChatGPT send traffic I can see in analytics?
Some. When an answer includes a clickable source, visits show up as referrals from chatgpt.com or chat.openai.com. Many mentions carry no link at all, so we also track branded search volume and direct traffic alongside the monthly citation record, which is a more honest picture of the effect.
How is ChatGPT SEO different from generative engine optimization?
Generative engine optimization is the discipline: making a brand citable by AI systems in general. ChatGPT SEO applies it to one platform's behaviour: its crawlers, its web index, its preference for answer-first passages and its habit of checking claims against reviews and forums. Gemini, Claude and Perplexity reward different things, which is why each has its own page and its own tactics.
How long before we see citations change?
Access and schema fixes are typically reflected within four to six weeks once pages are recrawled. Content restructuring shows in the second and third month. Third-party corroboration is the slowest signal and keeps compounding after the first quarter. We report against your baseline every month so you see the curve rather than wait for a verdict.
Do comparison pages really matter that much?
Yes. The prompts closest to a purchase are evaluative, and ChatGPT needs a source that actually compares options to answer them. Honest comparison and alternatives pages, with clear criteria, are cited far more often than product pages for those prompts. They also earn regular search traffic of their own.
How do you track citations, and what does the report show?
We agree a fixed set of prompts that mirror how your buyers ask, run them every month under consistent conditions, and record every brand and source cited. The report shows your citation share by prompt group, which of your pages were used, how competitors compare on the same prompts, and what changed since last month.
